HOLD AN INTANT TEA PARTY!
YOU can motivate your friends, neighbors and others from around the Mid-South to action! YOUR participation will encourage others to take action! By holding an Instant Party, YOU will help others see what they can do as well.
An Instant Tea Party is a short notice action in response to imminent action by the government and/or local happenings.

Make signs appropriate for your event (Not personal attacks)
Representatives names and phone numbers;
Brief statements about the issue at hand; etc. -
Choose an appropriate place
A busy street corner; Outside a specific event (in a conspicuous place) -
You don't need to take much time (15-20 minutes can have a big impact)

Do this at your convenience
On your lunch break; before or after work; whenever you can! -
It's easy, it's fun and it's effective!
If enough of us hold Instant Tea Parties, we can raise awareness, educate fellow Mid-Southerners and generate many phone calls to our elected officials!
This is a great way to do something positive to change the direction of our country! We hope you will try your own Instant Tea Party and report back on it.
